WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Thinking of starting a business? This workshop provides the basic information you need to get your business off the ground. Topics covered include what it takes to be an entrepreneur, how to determine your legal structure, starting your market research, financing options and a few accounting basics. You will learn about the services and resources available at YES for entrepreneurs. As a budding entrepreneur, you do not want to miss this orientation sessions which provides the basic information required to launch your business.

Get a glimpse at what it takes to be an entrepreneur, gather your facts and get ready to Jump-Start Your Business!

If you would like to sign up for both Jump Start Your Business (Wednesdays, 1:30PM-2:30PM) and immediately following, the Grants & Loans Information Session (Wednesdays, 2:45PM-3:45PM), please use the corresponding ticket: **ONLINE WORKSHOP ONLY*  Jump Start Your Business/Grants & Loans Information Session Combo* and you will automatically be registered for both workshops.

If this is your first time visiting YES, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the workshop.
