The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) is working together with the Government of Alberta to raise awareness about entrepreneurship in communities across the province and educating Albertans on how to start their own businesses. If you live in Alberta and you want to start your own business, you are invited to participate in the six-part Business Plan Workshop Series being delivered across the province.

Workshop 5: Best practices for legal and financial health of your small business
Assessing the legal and financial risks of running a small business is critical to your success.  This presentation will give you insights into options for creating the right business structure. You will explore legal considerations, government regulations, insurance, and other common business issues. As well, you will gain an understanding of best practices for managing your finances including financing options, accounting systems, capital cost and operating costs, income projections and cash flow management
