For the second consecutive year, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) and Spin Master Ltd., Canada’s most innovative toy company, are teaming up to offer financing, mentoring, innovation workshops and more to innovative entrepreneurs through the Spin Master Innovation Fund.
YOU could be one of up to 10 innovative young Canadian entrepreneurs selected to take advantage of this opportunity!
A selection of candidates will be invited to pitch their innovating enterprise to a panel of Spin Master executives and industry leaders at “The Spin” – a great way to sharpen your pitching muscle and compete for your place as a Spin Master Innovator.
- Up to $50,000 in start-up financing provided by CYBF and its affiliate, Entrepreneur Gateway Canada. We believe in character; no collateral is required. You’ll receive low interest rates with no principal repayment in the first year. For full details on financing, click here.
- A personally-matched mentor from CYBF’s world-class mentoring program, as well as access to key business leaders for expert advice to help you navigate the challenges of launching and growing your start-up.
- A paid trip to Toronto to attend the two-day Innovation Launch Pad Workshop where you will meet one-on-one with Spin Master executives to get advice, guidance and contacts help you launch or grow your business. Six months later, you will be invited to attend the Acceleration Workshop to reconnect with experts and peers and discuss your progress so far.
- A connection to CYBF’s community of over 5000 members including entrepreneurs and mentors through networking and peer-mentoring opportunities (both local and virtual) and access to helpful business tools through CYBF’s online Business Resource Centre.
