Are you ready to apply for a CYBF program? We are here to support you!

1. Find the right CYBF program for you. If you have not seen it already, check out our Program Finder which can direct you to the CYBF program that is best suited to you.
2. Perfect your business plan. Visit our Pre-Launch Coaching page for help developing your plan. You can connect with CYBF’s community partners (CPs) across the country that will let you know about small business resources in your area and help you create a winning business plan that meets all the CYBF application criteria.
3. Register as a CYBF entrepreneur. Your community partner will provide you with an access code to complete your online registration. If you have an access code already, click here to set up your CYBF Entrepreneur Profile.
4. Submit your loan application. Once you are ready to apply, log back in to your Entrepreneur Profile and submit your application for the CYBF program of your choice. Be sure to include the Applicant Reference Check form from two references.
5. If eligible, attend an interview and receive approval. Your Community Partner will review and recommend your plan to CYBF’s local Loan Review Committee which conducts face-to-face interviews with applicants. If your application and business plan are recommended for approval, they will be sent to CYBF for final approval. Once you have submitted your online application, it generally takes six to eight weeks to receive final approval from CYBF.
6. Get matched with a mentor. Once all the paperwork is complete, you will be hand-matched with a local business mentor whose skills and expertise meet your needs. You and your mentor will complete the Ment2B™ online orientation program together.
7. Funds Disbursement. The CYBF funds will be disbursed to you through an electronic funds transfer.
8. You are up and running! Congratulations, you are ready to get your business running with support from CYBF! You will start making your monthly repayments and submit Quarterly Progress Reports to CYBF.
