The Canadian Youth Business Foundation is making it easier than ever for young and emerging entrepreneurs and their mentors to access the information and expertise they need to build successful businesses.
What is it?
In response to growing demand for specialized business advice, CYBF is pleased to provide our network with a LinkedIn group, Entrepeer Hub, which includes experienced business owners, mentors and managers with specialized business skills, as well as new and experienced entrepreneurs.
Within Entrepeer Hub, specialized LinkedIn subgroups are available where entrepreneurs and mentors in the CYBF community can ask Entrepeer Hub Experts and other Hub members, business-related questions and view or participate in topic-specific discussions.
The subgroups are as follows:
- Accounting & Finance
- Business Expansion
- Business Development & Sales
- IT & Technology
- Marketing & Communication
- Operations Excellence
- People Management & Development
Who’s involved?
Young and emerging entrepreneurs and mentors from the CYBF network are invited to ask questions and participate in discussions. Responses to questions posted on the Entrepeer Hub subgroups will be provided by Entepeer Hub Experts and business experts from Accenture (a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company).
How do I access the subgroups?
- Sign into your LinkedIn account.
- If you are already a member of the CYBF Entrepeer Hub, skip to step 3. If you are not a member, join the CYBF Entrepeer Hub/Pôle Entrepairs group by doing a search for the name of the group and then requesting to join. You will be approved to join within a couple days.
- In the Groups tab, select Your Groups.
- Click on CYBF Entrepeer Hub / Pôle Entrepairs.
- In the sub-navigation bar, select the Subgroups from the More… tab
- A list of all the CYBF subgroups will appear on your screen. To join a subgroup, click on Join this subgroup on the right of the title.
- You are now a member of the subgroup!
- Select the visibility, contact and other settings of your choice by click on Adjust your settings here.
