About the G8 Young Business Summit

July 2-3, 2009. Stresa, Italy

What are the innovations we need to re-launch the economy?

The G8 Young Business Summit brought organizational leaders, from the G8 countries, together for an international discussion on the future of youth entrepreneurship and its direct impact on the re-launch of the world’s economy.

The purpose of the Summit was for the leaders to openly discuss issues related to the G8’s Head of State, and develop a common G8 Youth Entrepreneurship Declaration that was presented to the official G8 Summit which took place later that month.

The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) represented the voice of Canadians at the Summit, led by Vivian Prokop, CEO, CYBF, and Andrina Lever, Founder and President of Level Enterprises and a CYBF Board Member.

The Summit was led by The Regional Federation of Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria Piemonte in collaboration with the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria, The Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs of Europe (YES for Europe), and the (legal) patronage of Regione Piemonte.
