Mark Segal
Director
Mark is Chief Operating Officer of Canada Goose Inc, a leading Canadian based manufacturer of premium outdoor apparel, with offices in Canada, US and Sweden and sales in over 40 countries. Mark is responsible for Sales, Finance and Administration, IT, Manufacturing and Supply Chain. Formerly, Mark was Chief Financial Officer at Spin Master Ltd. North America’s 3rd largest toy company with global sales exceeding US$800m, a position he held from 2001 to 2011. He was responsible for all aspects of Spin Master’s global financial operations including financial reporting, capital markets, M&A, taxation, financial planning and treasury operations.
Prior to that, Mark was VP, Corporate Treasurer at Norigen Communications. Previously, he was Director, Treasury & Finance, at Husky Injection Molding Systems, the leading global supplier of injection molding systems to the packaging industry, responsible for treasury operations, capital markets and investor relations. Prior to immigrating to Canada from South Africa in 1995, he was Managing Director of National Home Products, the leading manufacturer and supplier of non-liquid cleaning products to the South African retail and industrial market.
Mark is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance, a Bachelor of Accounting degree and a Master of Business Administration degree (cum laude), all from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
