Ronnen Harary serves as Co-CEO of Spin Master Ltd., North America’s fastest growing children’s consumer products and entertainment company, which is currently ranked as Canada’s largest toy company and the third largest in North America. Spin Master, has a staff of over 700 employees with its head office in Toronto, Canada and other offices in the United States, Europe, Asia and Mexico.
Since its inception Harary has played a key role in the company’s operations and product development. He was instrumental in establishing Spin Master’s operations in Asia, building an office of over 180 people, and establishing manufacturing and R&D facilities in China. He continues to play a key role in product development, and is actively involved in product selection, working with a number of inventors and designers all over the world to create and source product ideas. In addition to this, Harary was responsible for establishing Spin Master as a world class licensing partner. While he is no longer involved in the day to day aspects of this area of the business, he continues to manage and build key relationships with our licensing partners all over the world.
Harary currently spends the majority of his time seeking out new business opportunities and can be credited for Spin Master’s entry in the world of online media and entertainment for children. His passion lies in building new businesses and it is his instinct and insight into new trends that has helped Spin Master capitalize on a number of unique opportunities, helping drive the business’ growth.
Together with his business partners, Harary has built a solid business from the ground up. His passion, discipline and success have led him and Spin Master to be recognized amongst Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies, Report on Business Top 40 under 40, a recipient of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 1999, and mention in Ad Age’s Top Marketing 2008 list for Bakugan.
Harary earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1994. Harary believes in sharing both Spin Master’s and his success through philanthropic and community based work.
Ronnen is a member of the YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle.
